In today's life and times actors and actress are running after getting the maximum number of followers on their social media pages. Shubhaavi Choksey, who is essaying the character of Mohini (Anurag's Mom) on the show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, shared her point of view on the same. Shubhaavi who started her career with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi took a break from acting post her marriage. And now when she has made her comeback with this most talked about show, her fan base on social media is booming. On her Instagram, 135k followers come in to get all the updates.
Talking about it, Shubhaavi said, "Social media has a big sway in an actor’s life today. The actor says that even if you are average on screen, a good social media page can get you a lot of fans today. It definitely boosts the popularity of any actor, which is amazing. As far as talent is concerned, there are few people who I don't think are such good actors, but it is because their pages are beautifully done that people follow them. I feel it’s a talent to click a picture also because I am still not able to click a good selfie.”

She also added, "But the medium has its upsides and downsides. Like it gives you a nice way of showing how you are, it’s also a way of portraying how you are not. For example, when I got married and I went to Dubai, with the help of Facebook I stayed connected to the people whom I couldn't meet on regular basis like my college friends.”
But she also agrees that in today's day this medium has turned an addiction to many. But it’s not the case for her anymore as she mentions, "I too enjoy the platform. But, I have so much to do apart from being there on social media. As apart from being an actor I am also a mother and homemaker too."
